PARENTS:

A PILLAR IN THE PROGRAM

Our Policy

Once students are enrolled in the program, parents/guardians automatically become a part of our parent group. Parents are needed all the time, on various levels:

  • To assist with fundraising activities for programming

  • To help with homework and other academic areas

  • To plan and chaperon events

  • Other assistance to staff members

Parents are welcome to visit The Loft at any time but must check in with Program Director upon their arrival. It is vital to the success of the program that each parent/guardian is involved. We could not do what we do without them.

“We have been a part of The Loft program since early 2016, and I have seen incredible improvement from my son's academics. Devin has become a happy, confident, popular, and helpful member of the class. He has won several highest reading growth awards from school. This has further boosted his confidence level and motivation to strive for a higher level. The positive words of encouragement and ability of the teachers in recognizing his abilities and capturing his interests have made all these possible.”He enjoys reading to his twin brother Devon. As a parent I am happy to see his excitement about reading independently.
